    Information

Inaugurated in 1921, the history of this reference bar in terms of cocktails is linked to Chicote, who was head bartender there. Inspired by English pubs (part of its decoration was acquired, precisely, by Chicote and Emilio Saracho, its first owner, in London), in it you can taste classic combinations as the latest creations, as well as a wide selection of brands of vodka, whisky, liqueurs, gin, rum, brandy, etc.

Bar Cock is a renowned venue for cocktails, offering both old favourites and the latest creations, with a vast selection of vodkas, whiskeys, liqueurs, gins, rums, brandies and so on. Based at the back of the famous Bar Museo Chicote, in the area around Gran Vía, it was once a private room for the most select customers, and some people even say the two establishments are connected by a fireplace.

Forget the legends, though. Hollywood actors, artists of all kinds, politicians, celebrities and royalty have passed through it... starring in stories that will always remain within its walls, because Bar Cock keeps its privacy at bay.
