DRY Martini Bar by Javier de las Muelas
Information
From the interior of a classic hotel in Madrid, the Gran Melia Fénix, barman Javier de las Muelas has conquered the city with a branch of his famous Barcelona cocktail bar, a world reference in the art of cocktails. The star, here as in Barcelona, is the Dry Martini: dry vermouth and gin, shaken well in a shaker with ice and served in a triangular glass (martini glass) with a touch of citrus and an olive as a garnish.
The Dry Martini is composed of three different spaces: the Tea Corner, under the glass dome and with comfortable armchairs and sofas; the Bar, with a wooden bar 10 meters long, in which there is a martini counter served, thanks to which the diner can have a certificate signed by Javier de las Muelas indicating the number of the martini taken; and the "Cuatro Estaciones" lounge, with tables, armchairs and sofas, in which a fireplace framed by a bookcase pays homage to the stay of the Beatles, who were staying in this hotel when they performed in Madrid on June 2, 1965.
