Welcome to Madrid

Under the artistic management of two leading flamenco figures, the dancer, Úrsula Moreno, and the guitarist, Antonio Andrade. It is a show in which all of the styles that sustain this art, classified as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO are represented. First rate flamenco at the world’s first flamenco theatre: Madrid Flamenco Theatre (located in one of the halls of the Teatro Alfil).

The show includes the participation of a varied cast of first rate artists who show off their dance, guitar, percussion and vocal skills. Therefore, styles such as dancing with long-tailed dresses, flamenco in couples, vocal and guitar solos, the finale… come together on stage.

With a long and successful career, the dancer, Úrsula Moreno, and the guitarist, Antonio Andrade, responsible for the artistic management, have visited the leading stages in Spain and abroad with great productions by the Antonio Andrade Flamenco Company.

The Madrid Flamenco Theatre is the world’s first flamenco theatre, where the essence of pure flamenco can be enjoyed. Located in the Alfil Theatre, it is not just a flamenco show, but it is set to become a cultural centre and meeting point for fans of this art. It is a versatile theatre hall with a surface area of 300 m2 divided between two floors with a maximum capacity to seat 220 people.
