One of the most legendary groups in the history of music and heavy metal is back on stage with the M72 World Tour in which it will promote its latest album,  72 Seasons. It is a world tour that is stopping off at the Civitas Metropolitano Stadium for two concerts on 12 and 14 July 2024, having prepared two setlists and different invited artists for each night.

Metallica is embarking on another tour of concerts which will once more have a daring circular stage design that will include the famous  Metallica Snake Pit in the centre of the stage and the I Disappear pass, which enables the audience to enter all of the concerts on the tour. It must be pointed out that a percentage of the revenue from each ticket will go to the Metallica foundation, All Within My Hands, whose purpose is to raise funds to help in the creation of sustainable communities through education and the fight against hunger.

On this tour, the American group will present its twelfth studio album, 72 Seasons, which includes Lux Aeterna as the presentation single. The concert on 12 July in Madrid will include Architects and Mammoth WVH as invited groups, whilst   Five Finger Death Punch and Ice Nine Kills will be present on 14 July.  

More than 120 million copies sold and eight Grammy Awards endorse this historic band, as well as a legacy in the trash metal spectrum thanks to the album with which the group from California embarked on its career in the early 1980s.  After a historic career, the vocalist and guitarist, James Hetfield, and his band members now want to continue putting up a fight on stage.
