Welcome to Madrid

In 2023, from 24 April to 7 May, the world’s best tennis players will once again battle it out on the Caja Mágica’s clay courts at the 21st edition of the Mutua Madrid Open. The tournament, which has now become a two-week affair, is part of the ATP Masters men's circuit and the WTA Premier Mandatory women's competition. It is the only Open in Europe with this duration and in which men's and women's competitions are held simultaneously.

Since 2009, the Mutua Madrid Open has been held at La Caja Mágica, designed by Dominique Perrault. An impressive modern tennis complex that is home to three courts with retractable roofs so that matches can be held in the open air or indoor.

Getting to Caja Mágica

- Metro: San Fermín-Orcasur (Line 3): stop located 750-800 metres from the entrance to the venue
- Buses: 23, 78, 123, 180, T32

During the tournament, bus number 180 will run between Legazpi and the Caja Mágica venue, as it always does when there are important sports events and concerts held at the venue located on Camino de Perales, near Manzanares Linear Park. The first bus will go an hour before the first match at the Caja Mágica and will the service will finish an hour after the last match.
