    Information

The French Institute, located in the former Arenzana Palace, is a public institution, official operator of the French Embassy. Its main objective is to teach the French language, spread its culture, train French teachers and form part of the linguistic and cultural cooperation between Spain and France.

The centre has a very active and varied cultural calendar. Theatre shows, film seasons, exhibitions and, of course, French language courses are part of the programme at the facilities.

It also has Le Café catering space, where there is a quiet and cosy courtyard to enjoy a French-Spanish gastronomic and cultural experience, and a Mediateca, which is the most important French speaking library in Spain, where an extensive selection of books and films in French and an interesting range of cultural activities can be enjoyed.
