This year sees the return of Naviluz, the Christmas bus, which takes passengers down some of Madrid’s most emblematic streets to show off the city’s wonderful display of Christmas lights. This special service is usually launched on the last Friday in November (coinciding with the turning on of the Christmas lights) and runs various times a day till the 6th of January.

Route and times 2022-2023

General tickets cost 7€. Children under 7 travel free and there are discounted tickets of 3€ for children aged 7 to 11 and for over-65s.

The journey lasts approximately 50 minutes and buses run every 10 minutes, from 6pm to 11pm (Sun-Thur) and 6pm to midnight (Fri-Sat and holidays).

Please note there is no service on 24 and 31 December or on 5 January (Three Kings’ Day).
