The Gallur Leisure Centre, located in the district of La Latina, is hosting the third edition of the Madrid CrossFit Challenger Series on November 2023, an event that brings together more than 300 athletes who will compete in five different categories: Men’s Elite, Women's Elite, Team Elite, Team Master, and Team RX.

CrossFit is a training technique based on exercises used by fire fighters, the military, and the police corps, created in 1974 by American Greg Glassman. This sport has grown tremendously in recent years, and in Spain it currently has more than 500 centres. In the rest of the world, meanwhile, it has about 15 000 gyms and five million subscribers.
