He represented his country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the same song, which he won with the highest score ever obtained in the contest.

In 2016, he released his first solo album, Excuse me; his second album in 2019, París, Lisboa, which took him on an extensive tour of Europe; bpm in 2021; and on 2022, he released the EP SAL, consisting of an original song and three songs that form part of his live repertoire, recorded at home with piano and vocals.  In 2023, he plans to release his latest album, of which some songs can be heard at this concert.
