    Information

The international show that brings the American singer, Whitney Houston, back to life in hologram form will make its world première in Madrid on 31 October 2020 at the Gran Teatro CaixaBank Príncipe Pío. It is a concert in which all of the artist’s great songs can be heard thanks to a revolutionary hologram technique, making it appear as if the artist is back on stage in flesh and blood.

This 3D technological feat has been developed by the American company, BASE Hologram, co-producer of this production.  Furthermore, the recital includes the participation of the Bankia Symphonic Orchestra (OSB), composed of 20 live musicians who will perform the American singer’s emblematic repertoire

The production also has the collaboration of Fátima Robinson, an art director who has been ranked one of the 100 most creative people in show business, and Keith Harris, the music director and Grammy Award winner. Furthermore, it has all been supervised by Whitney Houston’s sister.

It is therefore a tribute that takes the spectator on a magical journey through the three decades of classic hits which include songs like I Wanna Dance With Somebody, One Moment In Time, I’m Every Woman, My Love is Your Love, So Emotional Baby, Run to You, Saving All My Love or I Will Always Love You, among many others.

Whitney Houston was an American singer who won two Emmy Awards, six Grammy Awards, 30 Billboard Music Awards and 22 American Music Awards, among a total of 415 awards throughout her career.

She stood out for her incredible voice and her R&B, soul, blues and gospel rhythms.  Her album, Whitney Houston, sold 30 million copies and became the best-selling debut album by a female artist ever.  In 1992, she co-starred in the film, The Bodyguard, whose soundtrack is the best-selling soundtrack album of all time, selling over 45 million copies.
