    Information

This tavern has been part of Madrid's history since the end of the 19th century, when it was called Casa Baliñas. In 1923 it passed into the hands of the brothers Pablo and Ciriaco Muñoz Sanz, who gave it its current name. All kinds of illustrious and famous people have passed through its dining room, from the writer Valle - Inclán or the cartoonist Antonio Mingote (who designed the house's seal) to the Spanish royal family.

After being renovated in the summer of 2018, with a change of ownership included, Casa Ciriaco maintains its traditional and home-made menu, with historic dishes such as the chicken in pepitoria or the cocido from Madrid.

The premises have an entrance with a bar area where you can taste its tapas, a first dining room where tapas and bar dishes are served, with space for 40 diners. In the dining room, prepared for 120 people, and decorated with paintings of the period, press cuttings and photos of dedicated artists, you can enjoy its centenary cuisine.
