Centuries-Old Restaurants

Madrid has an important gastronomic tradition. Proof of this is the many restaurants that have been preparing the city’s typical dishes and serving the region’s finest wine for over one hundred years. Stew, tripe, typical cod dish from Madrid (soldaditos de Pavía), Spanish omelette and Castilian cuisine in general is served in these establishments, which have successfully overcome the passage of time.
