    Information

Located on the site of the former Boetticher lift factory, in Villaverde, this large building is now a public facility that encompasses numerous activities geared towards innovation, the dissemination of new technologies, and collaboration between social agents as a driver for growth in the city.

La Nave, an industrial building built in the 40s by the company Boetticher y Navarro, designed by engineer Eduardo Torroja, operated as a factory until 1992. It is now a space dedicated to entrepreneurialism and innovation, hosting meetings between entrepreneurs, training courses, talks, and various initiatives related to new technologies.

Kitted out as a centre for inspiration, education, and open innovation, La Nave also seeks to promote training and employability, as well as scientific and technical dissemination, which is why its events are open to the general public, as well as entrepreneurs, SMEs, companies, students, universities, and public administrations.

La Nave is also home to the Madrid Innovation Campus, an area covering 12,317 square metres aimed at developing different activities, which is in turn divided into five different spaces: the Pavilion, the Tower, Classrooms, an Auditorium, and Containers. The building is equipped with LAN cabling and Wi-Fi, and is powered by solar thermal and geothermal energy. It collects rainwater for irrigation purposes and it has a roof garden.
